OUR EVENTS:

Between many of the area's 5K's, Half Marathons and fun races, Team Hoyt VB strives to participate in at least one race per month. On a typical year, we participate in 2-3 races per month from spring through late fall. Join us in one or all of our races below!

how to sign up for a runner/rider athlete pairing:

**This is not registration for the race itself, just THVB pairings and participation.**
(For races with special Assisted Athlete registration links or processes, those will be published on this page.)

For each race, just below the title and description, there will be an embedded button to click on and sign yourself and/or your rider up for a race pairing.

In an effort to streamline the pairing process and ensure accurate participation numbers, these buttons will be posted one month prior to the race date and will close two nights before the race. There will be an email reminder that comes out the day the registration opens and the day the registration will be closing to remind you.

Once closed, pairings will be finalized and emailed with race day directions to those who have signed up.

wasserhund (virginia beach) charity night - september 26th, 2023:

Join us at Wasserhund Virginia Beach on Tuesday, September 26th for dinner and drinks. 30% of the proceeds from all sales that night will go to THVB so bring your friends!

kaizen adaptive training and thvb meetup - october 1st, 2023:

Come hang out with us as we join the Kaizen Adaptive Training family for a morning of fun, fitness, and camaraderie! We are still working out the specifics, but we are planning a 5K run with some of their athletes - both riders and runners - joining with our runner and rider athletes for a fun group event!

crawlin' crab 5k and half marathon - october 7-8th, 2023:

One of our only races on the North Side of the water, the Crawlin' Crab weekend is a great race - complete with a snappy fast and flat course on the water, ample room for friends and family to cheer you on and a pumped up and picturesque post race celebration! The 11th running of the BayPort Foundation Crawlin’ Crab Half Marathon Weekend is the perfect place to run, crawl, and SHELLebrate (see what we did there?).

wicked 10k - october 28th, 2023:

Come out and join us for one of our favorite events of the year - where a good costume makes amazing pictures! Do you love Halloween? Do you love running by the ocean? Are you looking for a few tricks and treats? The Wicked 10K Weekend is the perfect place to celebrate Halloween and enjoy wicked good times - Come experience Coastal Virginia’s largest Halloween race and party.
