autism society superhero 5k - april 11th, 2026:
The Autism Society is putting on the th annual Superhero vs. Villains 5K at the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail Park in Chesapeake - a very flat and fast course. All proceeds from the race will go to the Autism Society of Tidewater Virginia; a local grassroots non-profit organization connecting families and individuals with autism to the resources and support they need when they need them.

shamrock marathon weekend - march 21-22nd, 2026:
Shamrock weekend has always been legendary! This St. Paddy's Day tradition has a distance for all participants: 8K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon Distances; along with the Dolphin and Whale Challenges (8K plus Half or Full, respectively). This is a favorite race of ours with the finish line overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the post race party to follow on the beach. We're looking forward to seeing you at this race!

one city marathon weekend - february 28th-march 1st, 2026
The One City Half Marathon is a fast, flat, point-to-point run. The course is full of scenic views of the Virginia peninsula's parks and water ways, historical neighborhoods, and a finsh in the downtown area that is home to Newport News Shipbuilding, the sole provider of United States aircraft carriers.
The Maritime 5K takes place at City Center - located in Central Newport News, runners will experience the heart of the city's retail and business district. An extremely flat, out-and-back course is sure to deliver fast times and happy runners/riders!

patriots triathlon weekend - september 6-7th, 2025:
This is one of our two triathlons scheduled this year on the normal course in Jamestown - next door to the original Jamestown Settlement. The swim is at Jamestown Beach, the bike course is flat and fast, and the run course is amazing as it winds through historic farmland and forest.

Join us as we run to support the Eliza Hope Foundation - a center that many of our Rider Athletes go for their therapeudic needs. The mission of the Eliza Hope Foundation is to provide a center that meets the individualized needs of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental delays. Their dedicated therapists offer specialized services, interventions, and a therapeudic environment that includes the necessary equipment, structures, and support.

Join Team Hoyt VB for our first year participating in the Tour De Cure: Mid Atlantic! The Tour de Cure is the premier cycling fundraising event of the American Diabetes Association (ADA) that creates a sense of unity and shared purpose in the fight to end diabetes.
