interested in inclusion triathlons?
If you are looking to get your start in the multisport community or take your solo triathlon racing to the next level by teaming up with a Rider Athlete, we are the team for you!
Before getting your start with the Team Hoyt VB Triathlon Team, we require that all Runners and Rider Athletes join the main THVB Family to ensure the integrity and safety of our team. Please start on the GET INVOLVED page of our site first. Once you've completed those steps, you may join the Triathlon Team by emailing Scott Lindahl at both [email protected] AND [email protected] for inclusion on the email distribution list.

how do i begin?
For many athletes the thought of specialized equipment, pulling a raft while swimming, navigating the transition areas, and general rider comfort and care seem overwhelming. Hopefully this THVB Triathlon Team document can help put some of those fears to rest. The Team Hoyt VB Triathlon Team will never compromise safety of any of our athletes and will not put participants at the starting gate unless all parties are comfortable with the racing and equipment conditions.
For both Rider and Runner safety, Team Hoyt VB mandates that all participants attend at least one practice session to gain comfort and familiarize themselves with the specialized equipment required on race day - as well as Rider Athlete comfort in a raft prior to race day.
