Between many of the area's 5K's, Half Marathons, and fun races, Team Hoyt VB strives to participate in at least one race per month. On a typical year, we participate in 2-3 races per month from Spring through late Fall.
Join us in one, or all, of our races below!
how to sign up for a runner/rider athlete pairing:
**This is not registration for the race itself, just THVB pairings and participation.**
(For races with special Assisted Athlete registration links or processes, those will be published on this page.)
For each race, just below the title and description, there will be an embedded button to click on and sign yourself and/or your rider up for a race pairing.
In an effort to streamline the pairing process and ensure accurate participation numbers, these buttons will be posted one month prior to the race date and will close 2-3 nights before the race.
Once closed, pairings will be finalized and emailed with race day directions to those who have signed up.
Kinetic Patriots
Sprint Triathlon
September 13th, 2026
Join us for our last Sprint Triathlon of the season at the Kinetic Multisports Patriot Triathlon Festival! Our duos will take on a 750 Meter Swim, 20K Bike, & finish with a 5K Run in Williamsburg, Virginia.
**We are now at capacity for duos for this event**

Tunnel to Towers 5k Run

Born from the tragedy of 9/11, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries forward a legacy of courage and heroism. Built upon the mantra, “While we have time, LET US DO GOOD,” the Foundation supports our nation’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military heroes, and their families.

Neptune Festival 8k

Join us for Neptune’s 8k Race — one of the area’s oldest and most beloved races that is a part of the Virginia Beach Neptune Festival! Enjoy ocean views as you travel along a fast and flat oceanfront course during this fun race.

Join us for an inclusive race experience that brings athletes of all abilities together to run, ride, roll, and push alongside our community. Proceeds from this event support Kaizen Adaptive Training and Team Hoyt Virginia Beach, helping us continue to expand access to adaptive fitness, recreation, and meaningful opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

Down Syndrome walk

Hampton Roads, it's your turn to Step UP! 💙
Join us and get ready for a day celebrating individuals with Down Syndrome while bringing our Hampton Roads community together. This event is more of a walk and celebration of the community than a formal race, with lots of great events and vendors taking part as well!

Come experience Virginia Beach's largest Halloween race and party- this year ON Halloween! This race is always a THVB favorite, and dressing up in costume is encouraged!! The 5k & 10k will have the same start time AND start line.
